About the role-
Revive2Survive First Aid Training (RTO 21688) is seeking enthusiastic, motivated individuals who have a passion for educating to join our team on a contractor basis. Successful applicants will have completed or be nearing completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
Due to growth within our business, we are seeking multiple engaging, positive, fun trainers to assist with our increased client demand. We are seeking qualified trainers from a diverse range of employment backgrounds.
As a First Aid Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality first aid training and assessment to clients in throughout Melbourne. This is a flexible and rewarding role, allowing you to work in a variety of locations and settings.

The role requires you to-
Deliver comprehensive first aid training courses to a range of clients, including individuals, community groups, and businesses
Deliver course content in accordance with Revive2Survive First Aid Training course structure & standards
Assess participants and ensuring they meet the required competency standards
Maintain accurate training records and providing feedback to participants
Deliver training that can inspire and leave an impact on participants to be able to assist in an emergency
Maintain currency and qualifications in the field
We need passionate and dynamic trainer/assessors for the following courses:
HLTAID009 Provide CPR (Essential)
HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (Essential)
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (Essential)
HLTAID012 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (Essential)
HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid (Preferred)
HLTAID015 Provide Advanced resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy (Preferred)
22578VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis (Preferred)
22556VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace (Preferred)
Essential-
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
Drivers license, car and willing to travel to courses
Working with Children Check (Victoria)
Punctual, organised and reliable
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants
Excellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Provide a high level of customer service consistent with Revive2Survive First Aid Training values and objectives
Be organised, outgoing, fun, friendly and have a can-do attitude
Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work at various locations and times
Demonstrated understanding of Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) compliance requirements
Meet RTO compliance requirements by seeking regular professional development opportunities and industry experience
Currently have, or willingness to purchase own First Aid equipment (eg: bandages, slings etc.)
Be passionate about quality CPR & First Aid education with the ability to adapt the training experience to a range of clients
Desirable-
Experience in First Aid Training
Have own CPR equipment
Industry experience in First Aid eg. Education, Nursing, Paramedic, Childcare, Disability Care, Security, Emergency Services, First Aider or another relevant field.
