Melbourne Education Institute (MEI) is a quality and rapidly growing RTO located in the CBD, we are seeking trainers & assessor who will be responsible for the face-to-face training and assessments of CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry

Role of trainer:

Key duties include:

Carpentry trade qualified

As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for the face-to-face training and assessments of CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry

Provide academic support, mentoring and motivation, assisting a range of students from various backgrounds

Maintain all student academic and attendance records accurately

Participate in professional development

Assist setting up of practical training resources

Position requirements

Unrestricted right to work in Australia

Available for evening class (around 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm)

Preferred: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), Benefit: MEI will cover the TAE cost for successful candidate who do not have the TAE, or diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.

Australian-recognised qualification in Civil Construction Design at a minimum of Advanced Diploma or verifiable professional experience to this level or above

Current Civil Construction Design industry skills and knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided,

High level of spoken and written English.
