Founded in 2004, SDS has built a reputation for delivering industrial safety, fire, rescue, medical training, and emergency services personnel, ensuring that clients are fully prepared to respond to and manage any emergency.

The Position

We are seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced Trainers & Assessors to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. You will play a key role in delivering high-impact training.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a range of industrial safety courses.

Set up and pack down training environments, materials and equipment before and after course delivery

Ensure all training documentation and assessment records are accurately completed and submitted to the Perth-based training team promptly

Maintain compliance with national training standards and SDS procedures

Assess learners’ competency and provide constructive feedback

The SDS suite of medical and emergency response courses include (but are not limited to):

Work at Heights

Confined Space Entry including Gas Testing

Breathing Apparatus

First Aid and CPR

Advanced First Aid

Confined Space Rescue

Vertical Rescue

Training will primarily be delivered at our Murarrie Training Centre in Brisbane, however, travel to client sites nationally may be required.

Essential Criteria:

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent

Self-motivated with a drive for excellence

Ability to demonstrate currency of industry skills

Minimum 2 years of experience in training and assessment

High level of organisation and attention to detail

Ability to provide a National Police clearance

Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
