About the role

We are seeking a talented Sewing Machinist & Fabric Cutter to join our custom curtain manufacturing team in Lonsdale, SA. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle however there is the possibility for the position to become permanent part time. As an experienced sewing machinist and fabric cutter, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality custom curtains and blinds for our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Operate industrial sewing machines to construct custom curtains and blinds to precise specifications

Accurately measure and cut fabrics using manual and automated cutting tools

Assist in the preparation of fabric pieces and components for assembly

Ensure all work meets strict quality standards

Contribute to a safe and organized working environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a sewing machinist and fabric cutter, ideally within the curtain and blinds manufacturing industry

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Familiarity with a range of industrial sewing machines and cutting equipment

Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow production specifications

A keen eye for quality and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
