About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong skills in TIG welding, stainless steel, and structural steel fabrication. You will be working both in our well-equipped workshop and occasionally on site.

This position requires a practical problem-solver who can think on their feet, work to tight deadlines, and uphold the high standards we are known for.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding and general fabrication on stainless and structural steel

Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans

Fabricate custom components and large machinery, sometimes without drawings

Solve on-the-job challenges using sound fabrication knowledge and experience

Work as part of a collaborative team to meet project deadlines

Maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality workmanship

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in TIG welding

Strong skills in stainless steel and structural steel fabrication

Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings

Practical problem-solving ability, especially on site

High attention to detail and excellent time management

Valid Australian driver’s licence

Team-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated

Desirable (but not essential)

Confined space ticket and experience

Working at heights ticket and experience

Site work experience

Forklift licence or other relevant tickets
