The Team:
You will be part of a supportive innovative and inclusive small but dynamic team; the Northwest Business Team prides itself on providing accurate balanced business and finance advice to stakeholders of all levels within Hospitals NW.
The Role:
In this position you will support the monitoring, oversight and understanding of the business for Northwest Regional and Mersey Community Hospitals portfolio through the application of your financial and non-financial skills and experience to a variety of different services managers, tasks, responsibilities and projects.
The position plays an important role in supporting the work of more senior Business Team members and Service Managers. As such, it also has a strong focus on the development of new knowledge and skills in a supportive environment.
You will need to
- Prepare performance reports incorporating human resource, service activity and financial information. Advise clients on appropriate actions to take to achieve targets and provide support to implement.
- Undertake in depth analysis of business unit and cost centre performance, identifying key issues, trends and variances. Provide advice and make recommendations to the Manager – Business Support to implement agreed strategies.
- Assist and support cost centre managers in relation to budget and reporting processes by conducting training and supporting decision making with a view to increasing financial literacy, independence and accountability.

Details of appointment:
Fixed Term, Part-Time, day worker position, working 53.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $98,255 - $103,069 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
