The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-regarded Tier 2 civil contractor, known for delivering standout civil infrastructure projects across South Australia. With a strong foothold in the market, this contractor delivers projects valued between $5M and $40M, specialising in a range of services across civil construction, structural concreting, and large-scale commercial landscaping.

They are currently experiencing significant growth, with plans to double both its workforce and turnover in the coming 12 months. This expansion is creating new opportunities to work on more diverse and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

We are now seeking a Project Engineer to become part of their team and contribute to their continued success. With a solid project pipeline and a supportive team culture, this role offers career advancement, project variety, and long-term job security.

The Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with Project Managers to deliver civil infrastructure works, ensuring outcomes are met across quality, time, and budget. With a mix of on-site and office-based work, you’ll be part of an experienced and supportive team. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning through to completion
• Overseeing technical and engineering activities of civil works across various projects
• Ensuring alignment with project plans, design and specifications
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Conducting Quality Assurance and WHS inspections
• Preparing and maintaining documentation such as Work Method Statements and Inspection Test Plans

About You
You will have experience working as a Project Engineer within the civil infrastructure space. A tertiary qualification in Engineering (or related field) is essential, along with a solid understanding of project management and site operations. You’ll bring strong communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and clients.
