About the role

As the Engineer / Estimator at Pro Bitumen Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the success of our Bitumous surfacing business. Based in O'Sullivan Beach, SA, this full-time position will see you responsible for providing high-quality estimating services and technical expertise to support the company's strategic growth initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Preparing detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects

Analysing technical specifications, drawings, and other project documentation to identify resource requirements and associated costs

Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive estimates

Providing engineering support and technical advice throughout the construction process

Continually researching and implementing process improvements to enhance the estimating function

Maintaining a thorough understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

Degree-qualified engineer entry level, happy to train an individual with the right attitude.

Proven track record of good communication and honesty

Strong technical skills and the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Proficient in the use of Microsoft products and electronic programming tools.

Basic understanding of construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices

White Card and Current Drivers licence is essential.
