About the Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate Community Engagement and Events Coordinator to join us in this crucial role responsible for leading the planning, coordination and delivery of community engagement activities and events across MLHD. This role supports the development and implementation of MLHD’s Community Engagement and Participation Framework, ensuring all initiatives align with the organisation’s strategic direction and meet the unique needs of rural and remote communities.

About You:
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Event Management, Public Relations and Community Engagement
- Demonstrate clear passion and desire to connect and strengthen community relationships, through a variety of projects and initiatives
- Be able to confidently communicate and connect with a wide variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
