Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Mecca Bah Hope Island. As a Chef, you will play a key role in preparing and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. You will work with a team of culinary professionals to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with Mecca Bah’s menu and standards

Manage food production and kitchen operations efficiently

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations

Assist in menu planning and cost control

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen

Knowledge of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines is an advantage

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

Ability to work effectively in a team and lead kitchen staff

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 38 hours per week

Shifts between 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
