Your New Company:

Our Client is a family-owned dealership in the Hawkesbury, passionate about top-notch auto sales, service, and parts.

Your New Role:

As the Workshop Controller, you will be the central point of communication between the service advisors, technicians and customers. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the busy workshop, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity. This is a key role that is crucial to the success of our service department.

Here's what your day will look like:

  • Effectively distribute and manage the workload of our team of skilled technicians.
  • Monitor workshop productivity and efficiency to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Liaise between the front-of-house service advisors and the workshop to ensure clear communication and a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
  • Manage workshop scheduling to optimise workflow and meet customer deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the workshop, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, or a senior technician ready to take the next step in their career.
  • A strong technical background in the automotive industry.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license.
