Town Planner

• Location: Parramatta flexible WFH arrangement.
• Pay Rate: $75- $83.24/hr + Super
• Contract length: 12 months from start date

Key Accountabilities

• Provide accurate and timely technical planning services relative to feasibility, suitability, development options and anticipated yields for specific sites or projects to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review planning assessment reports and packages to ensure they comply with planning legislative requirements, planning policies and department requirements.
• Advise on the appropriateness of different approaches to managing planning risks across projects. This includes identifying planning risks and environmental impacts and compliance matters to ensure projects are delivered in line with expected objectives.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships and provide planning outcomes to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of projects to meet briefs, timelines, and expectations in line with Government planning policies.

Essential Requirements / Required

• Need someone who is confident in assessments & applications, also Part 5
• Any local or State Government experience is desirable
• Based in SYDNEY
