The Opportunity:

We're on the hunt for a Venue Manager who's eager to sink their teeth into an exciting project with great opportunities for development. This is a stable business, well-supported by locals, and we need someone who can be a pivotal part of its success. You'll lead from the front, driving our amazing culture, nurturing your team, and ensuring operational excellence.

This isn't an office job – you'll be an integral part of the day-to-day operations, getting hands-on and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll work closely with the Head of Hospitality on budget reports, marketing, events, and all things hospitality.

Key Responsibilities You'll Own:

Lead and Inspire: Take charge of leading, training, organising, onboarding, offboarding, and developing your superstar team.

Financial Wizardry: Apply your sound knowledge of financial control, including COSG & wages, purchasing, stock security, and inventory levels to achieve targets.

Operational Excellence: Improve and maintain operations by implementing standard operating procedures and fostering team accountability, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing, and continuously optimising service standards and customer experience.

Event Master: Showcase your flair for event and function management, overseeing the successful execution of all events from concept to completion, and actively seeking new opportunities to drive event revenue.

Strategic Growth: Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives to ensure continued high growth for the venue.

Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Customer & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and local community organizations, ensuring our brewery remains a beloved community hub.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

You're an extremely motivated hospitality professional who loves beer and has sound beer knowledge. You believe you are a great leader and have successfully grown and trained high-performing teams in the past.

We're looking for someone with:

3+ years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a large, busy venue.

A true love and passion for functions and events.

The ability to thrive in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.

Outstanding communication (written & verbal), time management, and organisational skills.

Impeccable attention to detail and a creative, open mind.

Flexibility and adaptability to navigate diverse tasks.

A friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude at all times.

Exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

The technical skills to get the job done!

Availability to work nights and weekends when required.
