• Permanent Part Time role 4 days per week
• Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 3pm (30 min break)
• $35 - $43 per hour + superannuation

About Us

Based in Mordialloc this small manufacturing business provides aged care and medical products, and this position is vital to the success of the business, playing a key role in supporting daily operations through accurate financial management and insight.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial data, bookkeeping, cash flow management, budgeting, processing payment runs, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and asset management. Will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the company's financial health is monitored, understood, and effectively communicated, enabling sound decision-making and sustainable growth.

Task and Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank account including , Stripe, Wise and PayPal accounts
• Managing direct debits via Strip and recurring invoices
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy across financial records
• Complete end-of-month reporting and financial analysis
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, GST, and PAYG reports
• Assist with the preparation of half-yearly and annual financial statements
• Complete annual FBT and Payroll Tax returns
• Weekly payroll processing - approx. 7 staff
• Prepare and review annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Provide inventory and sales reporting, monitoring standard costs and profit margins
• Reconcile inventory accounts and support ad hoc financial analysis and projects
• Some General Administration
• In office position - own office

Experience & Qualifications

• A background in financial services or a similar accounting role
• CA/CPA qualification (or currently working forward) preferred
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication
• Follow up with Debtors and pay suppliers
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of MYOB accounting software
