We are looking for a passionate, professional Head Chef who is reliable, dedicated and well organised and can lead a team, and drive its future growth and success.
Crown on McCredie has a strong food trade and operates as a family friendly hotel bistro.
We are a Hotel Group that owns several well known, large turnover venues operating across Greater Sydney.
We pride ourselves on a group culture that is supportive of staff and operating quality venues that offer a warm, safe, and friendly environment to all our patrons.
This position will report directly to the Hotel Licensee and Owner.
As the Head Chef you will be responsible for:
menu development
maintaining a high level of food quality and control
food costing
stock ordering
recruiting, training and motivating your team
maintaining a roster for the bistro operations.
The successful applicant will possess:
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in hotels, bistros or restaurants as a Head Chef or senior sous chef.
You must have the ability to multi task, be "hands on", excellent time management skills and importantly work collaboratively with your team.
The successful candidate will enjoy a relaxed, yet professional environment with the opportunity to further enhance your career.
You will be expected to work flexible hours with some weekends. Salary will be based on experience; the role will be well paid for the right candidate.
