Events Manager – Join Our Creative & Driven Team at Keito Events

Keito Events is Adelaide’s trusted event management specialist. We deliver diverse, high-quality events and activations for brands, corporate clients, government organisations, and not-for-profit partners. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team and take the lead on an inspiring range of projects.

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and creative Events Manager to join our small, tight-knit team. In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end management of client events—strategically planning, professionally managing, and confidently executing events of all shapes and sizes.

You’ll collaborate closely with Keito’s Director, Event Coordinator, and Event Assistant while also operating independently as a trusted representative of Keito. You’ll manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring every event is delivered with excellence, care, and originality.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Keito’s Events Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring all deliverables are met to a consistently high standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Managing project timelines and ensuring key event deadlines are met using our internal systems

Brainstorming creative concepts and event strategies to meet client objectives

Preparing and tracking event budgets

Creating essential documentation such as run sheets, MC notes, briefings, and event schedules

Meeting and liaising with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders

Maintaining accurate event files, folders, and documentation

Updating event risk assessments and emergency response plans

Building and managing registration platforms (e.g., EventsAir)

Providing on-site management including bump-in, stage and formalities coordination, and bump-out

Supporting internal process development, including improving SOPs, checklists, and systems to ensure continuous improvement

About You

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is deeply passionate about delivering standout events, and brings energy, initiative, and professionalism to everything they do.

To be successful, you will have:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management, with a proven track record delivering a variety of events simultaneously (experience with activations, conferences, and corporate events preferred)

Demonstrated experience in client and stakeholder relationship management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong project management and organisational abilities, including proficiency with internal event systems (ideally experience using EventsAir system)

A flair for creativity and a passion for unique event design and execution

The ability to think on your feet, solve problems quickly, and remain calm under pressure

Ideally, some experience in event communications, PR, or marketing

A flexible, can-do attitude, and a willingness to work outside of standard hours during events (including occasional weeknights, weekends, and interstate/overseas travel as required)

The Offer

This role can be either full-time or part-time (minimum 25 hours per week), depending on the right candidate

General office hours are between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, must have flexibility required for after-hours event work to manage events onsite, ability to travel interstate will also be required to execute some events

If you’re ready to be part of a team that’s redefining what events can look and feel like—and you’re excited by the idea of bringing creative visions to life—we’d love to hear from you.
