My Beer Dealer Bar & Bottlo Alfred Street is looking for a Head Chef. We are open 5 days a week Tuesday - Saturday from 12 - 9pm for food service. We have been open for just over 8months and are getting busier every day.

Along with some of the best craft beer on the planet, our customers have come to expect food served with love using local, boutique produce. We have a strong reputation of delivering a quality a la carte seasonal menu to complement the highly curated tap, fridge and wine list.

We are looking for a full-time Head Chef who will love working in a small team and is experienced working independently.

You'll be dependable, have a true love of food, have highest food hygiene standards, work well under pressure, work autonomously, and have a fun, easy-going personality. You will be expected to work automously .

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will have the following experience and qualifications;

REAL work experience of 4 years + in service essential

Experience at peak service times

Full knowledge of food safety, cleanliness & maintenance requirements

Experience in menu development, costings and profitability of a menu

Strong experience in ordering and par level control

Experience with function menu development and service

Experience in management and training of kitchen staff
