Aussie Little Lamb Restaurant, located in Brisbane QLD is experiencing an exciting growth. We are looking for a dynamic full time Restaurant Chef to ensure the restaurant operates effectively and efficiently.
Roles and responsibilities:
Aussie Little Lamb Redcliffe is currently seeking a motivated, experienced order chef to join our kitchen team, in a fast-paced and energetic environment. Our restaurant offers lunch and dinner service seven days a week with breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As our venue is rapidly growing, we are currently looking for a Qualified and experienced Chef to join our team who can cater for our cuisines.
Your main duties are as follows:
Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
Instruct cooks and other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers.
Demonstrated ability to organise a kitchen team within a busy environment
Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
Plan and design menus.
Our ideal candidate will possess Australian equivalent qualification in commercial cookery and hospitality management and must:
be proactive and responsible.
be capable of organising and managing a kitchen.
be able to work nights and weekends
ensure a high standard in the areas of health and safety, meal delivery and presentation.
work well under pressure.
possess a strong work ethic
have 12 months or more experience working as a Chef catering for authentic dishes.
