Position: Group Leader/Room Leader
Room: Toddlers (2-3 years)
Qualification: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent
Role: Permanent Full time (38 hrs per week)
Pay Rate: $35.28 - $36.35 + Superannuation + Benefits

About Our Centre:
Conveniently situated within the grounds of Star of the Sea Primary School, our service has been serving the community for more than a decade. Catering to a maximum of 75 children aged from 6 weeks to the year before prep, we offer comprehensive care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA, or Working Towards
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
• Effective workplace communication skills
