About the role

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Enterprise, Solution, and Security Architects to join the TAP team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the architectural vision for our clients. This includes the development, communication, and implementation of Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technology Architecture, and related strategic plans. You will play a pivotal role in translating business strategy into actionable, technology-driven outcomes

As a key member of the TAP team, you bring a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative spirit. We’re looking for someone who embodies our values and is passionate about delivering impactful architectural solutions.

About you

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

5+ years of proven experience as an Enterprise, Solution, or Security Architect in large, complex IT environments.

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior executives and business stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to evaluate technologies and recommend effective, scalable solutions.

Hands-on experience in rapidly delivering prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate architectural approaches.

Solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or DODAF.

Expertise in enterprise integration patterns, API management, microservices, and service-oriented architectures (SOA).

Proficiency in cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

Familiarity with the Australian Government or Private Sector environments.

Full Australian working rights and security clearance is highly desirable.

Knowledge of modern development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.

Experience in assessing and recommending cybersecurity solutions.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to define and communicate enterprise and solution architectures.

Evaluating tools and technologies in alignment with future-state architecture and evolving business needs.

Ensuring the availability and effective use of appropriate tools and methodologies.

Working closely with development teams to ensure robust and effective solution delivery.

Participating in the design of system and application architectures with a focus on cost, functionality, and practicality.
