Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Management professional to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee key operational areas and drive business growth in Australia's competitive mortgage market.

Key Responsibilities

This management role involves overseeing three critical departments: Compliance, Customer Service, and Human Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Operational Management

Provide strategic leadership and direction across Compliance, Customer Service, and HR departments

Manage and mentor department team members across all three areas

Ensure compliance with Australian mortgage industry regulations and ASIC requirements

Maintain exceptional client experience and service delivery standards

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, staff development, and performance management processes

Handle escalated issues across all departments and implement solutions

Develop and maintain policies and procedures for all operational areas

Strategic Leadership

Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and business development

Prepare regular reports on departmental performance and KPIs

Foster a positive workplace culture and team collaboration

Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency

Allocate resources and prioritize initiatives across departments

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in financial services or mortgage industry

Strong understanding of Australian mortgage regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent leadership and team management skills across diverse functional areas

Experience with HR management, customer service operations, and regulatory compliance

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Professional certifications in mortgage or financial services

Experience with Australian Credit License (ACL) compliance

Previous experience in mortgage brokerage or lending institution

Knowledge of CRM systems and customer service platforms
