Conduct site surveys and technical evaluations to determine optimal routing for cable installations, access points, and equipment placement within apartment buildings, hotels, retail premises, and mixed-use developments.
Install, configure and commission telecommunications equipment such as optical network terminals (ONT), switches, routers, wireless controllers, and IP-based intercom/CCTV systems.
Manage end-to-end fibre network deployment processes—including splicing coordination, cable tray planning, termination, and link testing (OTDR/power meter).

Oversee subcontracted technicians during on-site cabling works, equipment mounting, patch panel termination, and quality inspections to ensure compliance with Netbay’s standards and national regulations.
Collaborate with IT and software teams to integrate telecommunications infrastructure with internal systems, including monitoring dashboards and ticketing support platforms.
Maintain and update technical documentation including as-built network diagrams, floor plans with AP mapping, equipment configuration records, and system operation manuals.
Implement security and performance protocols including VLAN segregation, MAC address filtering, wireless encryption, and remote access safeguards to uphold network integrity
Provide second-level technical support for customer connectivity issues, including on-site troubleshooting, remote diagnostics, and root-cause analysis for link instability or device faults.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and technical plans for new communication projects, offering insights on hardware specifications, installation methods, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hands-on telecommunications system deployment, preferably in building-level or distributed communication environments.
Strong understanding of IP networking, fibre optics, wireless protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), and telecommunication safety standards.
