About the role

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our operations team. This full-time role will suit someone who is passionate about network performance, telecommunications design, and infrastructure delivery. You’ll work across planning, configuring, installing, and maintaining telecommunication networks and systems to ensure top-level service performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, build, configure, and commission devices, networks, and systems.

Ensure systems integrate with equipment from different manufacturers, service providers, and users.

Compile project proposals and assess project cost, scope, and feasibility.

Evaluate and procure new products and technologies.

Ensure regulatory, legal, and policy compliance across systems.

Develop new sites including site selection, design, and approvals.

Configure and assess hardware and software performance.

Prepare and interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

Determine layouts of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, and transmission equipment.

Monitor existing systems and diagnose issues.

Identify problems and provide recommendations to improve communications systems.

Plan and implement short- and long-term upgrades to networks and infrastructure.

About You

A degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of IP networks, fibre optics, and radio systems.

Solid troubleshooting and network diagnostic skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documentation.

Strong written and verbal communication.
