We are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Civil/Site Engineer to join us.

The Role

As our enthusiastic, professional, punctual and quality-focused Civil/Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for site management of multiple domestic/commercial builds from end to end ensuring that the completed work meets the high-quality standards.

Main Duties
Your responsibilities are such as, but not limited to:

• Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to fearlessly strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements.
• Able to read/interpret design plans & drawings
• Participate in client/contractor meetings where required
• Financial assisting of cost tracking/invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of work
• Manage the quality assurance of activities, the project’s procurement requirements and organize sub-contractors onsite.
• Act as a problem solver by identifying and resolving any construction-related issues that may come up during the project.

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil or similar/related field.
• At least 1-3 years of proven site-based experience.
• Proven experience maintaining documentation and systems for Quality, Safety and Environment
• Proven experience in tracking daily progress, productivity, reporting and planning 4-5 week look ahead
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders and sub-contractors
• Ability to work in a demanding environment in sometimes challenging conditions.
• Highly motivated attitude to learn and grow within the industry.

A bit more about you

As an exceptional communicator (both written and verbal), you will possess the ability to build rapport and have close working relationships with all stakeholders.

It is also key that you possess well-developed knowledge and experience in planning, scheduling and coordinating across multiple sites.

We will need you to be flexible when required, and have strong time management and multi-tasking abilities including great attention to detail and follow through – nothing will slip between the cracks with you!
