Trackway Careers is recruiting on behalf of our valued client for two full-time Residential Care Officers to join a respected residential care facility located in Hawthorn, VIC. These roles are ideal for compassionate, reliable, and experienced individuals who are ready to contribute to a high standard of resident care in a dynamic environment with rotating rosters.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver daily personal care and support tailored to individual resident needs.

Promote resident independence, wellbeing, and dignity through compassionate care.

Monitor and report changes in resident health and behaviour.

Administer medications in accordance with policy and documentation standards.

Facilitate participation in recreational and social activities.

Maintain a safe, hygienic, and respectful living environment.

Document care services and incidents accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare professionals.

Respond appropriately to emergency situations and critical incidents.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community Services,
OR Diploma of Community Services

Experience in residential or aged care settings (preferred)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Caring, respectful, and team-oriented approach

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Availability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
