Contracts Manager – Electrical Construction Projects

Join a leading electrical and construction firm and take charge of commercial contracts that power diverse infrastructure projects across Australia.

We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager with strong experience in the construction or electrical engineering sector to oversee the full contract lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly influence project outcomes, compliance, and commercial success.

Your Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and manage contracts in line with company policies and industry standards

Serve as the central point of contact for all contractual matters across client and subcontractor agreements

Manage pre-qualifications, labour rate documentation across multiple states, and financial contract data

Coordinate contract close-outs, extensions, renewals and variation management

Conduct internal audits and identify non-compliance or risk exposures

Resolve contractual and legal disputes in consultation with legal teams

Support project teams with electronic contract platforms and systems

Collaborate with Operations, Finance and external stakeholders to ensure contract compliance across all phases

What You’ll Need

Essential:

Diploma in Business, Contract Management or similar

Minimum 2 years' experience in contract administration in construction, electrical or engineering

Proven negotiation and mediation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

White Card (Construction Industry)

Desirable:

Experience with contract management platforms

Exposure to electrical or civil construction projects

Understanding of WHS, QA and industry-specific compliance frameworks
