Our client, in the lending space, are looking for a skilled Data Scientist from a lending/credit risk/modelling or insurance environment who will be responsible for the whole end-to-end model lifecycle from ideation to deployment and (if necessary) building and deploying Gen AI/ML applications for the business to serve themselves insights/ predictions, tackling a variety of use cases such as chatbots, text-to-SQL solutions, and multi-agent systems to improve business processes.

The Senior Data Scientist will lead and support the development of models, tools, and business-facing applications that directly influence business strategy and profitability across functions like sales, marketing, pricing, credit, and collections. This includes consulting on model outputs and aligning them with risk appetite and business goals.

The role spans the full model lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—and may include building machine learning applications. The position requires strong model-building skills (e.g. parameter tuning, feature engineering, model selection) and proficiency in Gen AI - the current tech stack include:

Tech skills:

· Data: Snowflake, Snow Park

· Modeling: Python, DataRobot

· Deployment/UI: DataRobot, Streamlit

· DevOps: Azure DevOps

· AI: Gen AI, Azure AI Foundry, CoPilot Studios, Snowflake Cortex

Responsibilities:

· Work is focused on two streams: building models in Python/DataRobot and deploying them into Snowflake or DataRobot environments and supports the development of models, tools, and applications that drive business strategy and profitability.

· It involves end-to-end model lifecycle management—from ideation to deployment—and close collaboration with business teams.
