For an Fintech client of expertech we are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data models that can anticipate future needs of the business. In this Senior Data Engineer role you will establish and work on best practices for GenAI tools in order to improve efficiency and productivity. Another part of this position is to trial new Proof of Concepts for Data and to follow standards for data transformation and pipeline development. We are looking for Senior Data engineers that enjoy working in a team and are happy with a Hybrid position, working both from the office and from home.

Essential skills and experience

• Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL
• Datawarehousing and building of Data Models
• GenAI tools, e.g. BigQuery and/or Copilot
• Cloud Datawarehousing
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable skills and experience

• Infrastructure-as-code, e.g. Terraforms
• Workflow Orchestration, e.g. Airflow
• Fintech industry experience
