POSITION PURPOSE
This role looks after the reception area as well as providing accounts and administrative support. The main responsibilities of this role are to provide efficient, professional and courteous customer service to all internal and external customers, employees and visitors.
RECEPTION DUTIES
Manage front desk duties including answering phone calls, taking messages, greeting visitors & contractors, booking couriers and sorting mail.
Be the first point of contact for employee onsite services and any additional questions employees and visitors may have at the front desk.
Maintain the Reception and Breakout/Lunchroom areas of the office as an attractive, welcoming and highly professional environments. Maintain the cleanliness of the areas including the daily operation of the dishwashers.
ACCOUNTS DUTIES
Maintenance of Customer accounts and records. This includes processing new account applications, liaison with customers ensuring they are up to date with payment, and allocation of payments made.
Assist with internal and external account enquiries
Checking invoices for services processed through Reception (e.g. Australia Post, Couriers)
Processing of claims and any ad hoc admin requirements
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Warm, welcoming personality with strong people skills
Demonstrated experience and efficiency in business and general office procedures
Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks while maintaining composure
Team player mentality with a willingness to assist in ad hoc tasks as needed
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and discretion
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly, confidently and appropriately
