We are a manufacturing and service company specialising in rail maintenance attachments, Hi-Rail manufacturing & general repairs to construction machinery, with a well-equipped workshop and mobile service vehicles for onsite service and repairs. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Administration/Accounts/Allrounder to join our team of people, to work from our office at Edgeworth. 5 days/week, 5hrs/day.
Qualifications & experience
- Cert III in Business
- Experience using accounting software Reckon Accounts (Quickbooks) an advantage.
- MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously as well as in team environment.
- Driver’s licence will be looked upon favourably.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Data entry using Reckon, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
- Responsible for invoicing, debtor, and creditor reconciliation.
- Prepare and reconcile BAS and PAYG
- Answer phone calls and taking enquiries as well as assisting with walk-ins with general enquires.
- Assist in keeping compliance documentation up to date.
- Checking emails and forwarding on enquires to required personal.
- Processing of Weekly Payroll
- Payroll Tax
- Superannuation
- Ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as needed.
- Assist in organizing freight in and out & occasionally picking up parts.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating company events and initiatives.
- Procurement of materials and consumables.
- All general administrative tasks. E.g., Filing, scanning, stationery orders, etc.
Benefits
- Permanent part time 25 hours/per week
- Weekly pay
- Pay Rate $35-$40/hr - negotiable depending on experience.
