As the Supervisor you will develop and coordinate contracts and activities for shared path and kerb renewal and construction, and associated maintenance and minor works to ensure the work is carried out effectively and efficiently, within budget and to agreed quality standards and customer expectations.

What can you bring to the team?
- Diploma of Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Five (5) years or more experience in civil construction, maintenance, contract management and administration
- Current unrestricted ‘C” class national driver’s licence
- Current White Construction Card
- Current certificate in Basic Worksite Traffic Management
- Experience in supervising contractors and employees
- Broad knowledge and understanding of contract managed road, maintenance techniques, materials, methods and quality control procedures
- Working knowledge of labour, materials and equipment estimating, budgetary preparation and control, costing and administration
- High level of working knowledge of the safe operation and user maintenance of plant and equipment
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the principles and practices of WHS and Equal Opportunity
- Highly developed project planning, management and project procurement, contract management experience
- Knowledge and experience in preparing and implementing traffic management schemes and plans for construction worksites
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer relation skills and demonstrated ability to deliver quality customer service
- Developed leadership skills to lead and motivate work groups to achieve effective outcomes
- Team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including preparing basic reports and decision-making skills
- Financial management skills for job expenditure control
- Basic level of Microsoft and mobile technology

The finer details
This full-time Level seven (7) position attracts a salary of $111,621 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. All applications received are reviewed on merit.
