Make a Real Impact Supporting Veterans & Their Families

Wounded Heroes Australia is a national charity dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance, crisis support, and advocacy for Australian Defence Force personnel, veterans, and their families. We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic State Community & Fundraising Manager to help continue our reach and fundraising efforts in Western Australia & South Australia.

About the Role:

As the State Community & Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening our engagement with local communities, businesses, and supporters to drive fundraising initiatives and increase awareness of our mission. You will develop and implement fundraising campaigns, coordinate events, and build partnerships that provide essential support for veterans in need.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Develop and execute local fundraising initiatives, events, and community engagement strategies
✔️ Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community groups
✔️ Manage fundraising campaigns, including corporate partnerships, and community events
✔️ Represent Wounded Heroes Australia at community events and networking opportunities
✔️ Work with volunteers and supporters to enhance fundraising efforts
✔️ Provide reports on fundraising activities and outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

A passionate advocate for veterans and their families
Experience in fundraising, community engagement, or event management
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with creativity and enthusiasm
Experience with donor management, sponsorships, or corporate partnerships
Understanding of the not-for-profit sector and charity fundraising (desirable)
