We are seeking an Experienced farm hand with a positive attitude to join our existing team. The role involves task’s on private and shared farming properties as well being a part of our harvesting contracting business activities. You’ll play a pivotal role in our cropping operations involving modern John Deere tractors & machinery, self-propelled and camera sprayers with Greenstar and Trimble GPS technology.

The Farm Hand (Cropping) position is responsible for carrying out daily tasks (as listed below) in a safe, responsible, efficient manner. You will work effectively, considerately and cooperatively with other team members and independently as directed. The employee shall be forward thinking, proactive and contribute to the planning and implementation process. Training and development available.

The farm is situated in a vibrant local community situated close to quality Primary and High Schools. Embrace a dynamic sporting scene with local clubs catering to various interests. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Involvement in all aspects of cropping program

Contribution to farm development and improvement

Operation of machinery

Uphold the company standards

Attention to Detail / Accuracy

Pay attention to the surroundings in an effort to detect potential problems, issues or breakage.

Always seeks to provide “finished product” without the need for rework

Takes pride in output and workmanship.

Analyse issues from different viewpoints, to identify hidden problems

Read documents thoroughly.

Record keeping completed where required

Other Requirements

Must have HC truck license

2 year minimum experience with broadacre cropping.

Not suitable to WHV holders
