The property we are recruiting for is circa 3,000ha (70% irrigated) and located in the heart of the Central Highlands near Rolleston - 120km south of Emerald. It is a key part of their portfolio and has recently benefited from extensive upgrades to irrigation (currently running laterals and pivots) and water storage. With a strong focus on sustainable farming and continuous improvement, this is an environment where your input will directly impact long-term success.

The Role

This role provides a clear pathway toward farm management for those ready to take the next step. You'll be hands-on across all facets of day-to-day operations, working with a modern fleet of John Deere and Case machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient operation and basic maintenance of modern John Deere and Case equipment
• Supporting the maintenance of irrigation systems, farm channels, and general farming infrastructure.
• Adherence to strict Workplace Health and Safety standards
• Implement crop management plans, directly impacting productivity and yields
• Drive productivity with an eye toward performance bonuses tied to yield targets

What You Bring:

Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a genuine passion for agriculture and machinery, always ready to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. With hands-on experience in broadacre farming, and machinery operation.
What You’ll Gain

• Competitive Package: $30 - $36ph plus penalties (OT), Super and a 3 or 4 bedroom house (inc utilities). Circa $80k - $100k + salary equivalent - calculated on 45-50 hour weeks.
