About the role

We are searching for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Mexican Restaurant Front Of House/ Kitchen Hand to join our lively team at the Taco Street restaurant in North Strathfield and Beverly Hills. This part-time role will see you working both in the front of house as well as assisting in the kitchen. Bonus if you can work at both stores!

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating customers with a warm and friendly manner

Taking food and drink orders, and ensuring prompt and accurate service

Maintaining a clean and organised dining area, including clearing and resetting tables

Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, plating, and general kitchen duties

Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are upheld at all times

Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably within a restaurant or cafe environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service

A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A passion for food and a willingness to learn about Mexican cuisine and culture

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team

Must be available most afternoons and bonus if can work at both stores
