About the position

We are seeking applications for an Education Engagement Officer position at our Noble Park location. If successful, you will support place-based marketing and community engagement strategies, supporting increased community awareness of and enrolment in AMES Education programs.

To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Customer Engagement or similar field; and/or at least 2 years' experience in a customer support/engagement role
  • Ability and willingness to work across multiple sites as required
  • A valid current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • A current Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • Ability and willingness to work on weekends as required
  • Knowledge of different adult education and training programs
  • High level cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to engage people with limited English skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve to engage clients
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
  • Excellent spoken, written communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse communities
  • The ability to speak one or more community languages is desirable
  • Previous experience in an organisation that provides education services is desirable
