This Melbourne-based business has just opened its Geelong division, and they need a Site Manager urgently!

You’ll be stepping into a business that has been in operation for 7 years now. Through a measured approach, they have experienced record turnover year on year. As a result, they are ramping up and have expanded not only within the head office but also with the launch of their Geelong Division.

Their work spans commercial spaces, from detailed fit-outs to structural new builds, with values ranging from $1 million for fit-outs to $20 million for new builds. The project locations are predominantly in and around the city or in the northern suburbs.

You’ll work closely with the Geelong director and PM, who are approachable and experienced. They stay connected to delivery and value what happens on-site. The culture is hands-on, team-focused, and professional. But there is also space for a bit of fun with regular catch-ups and social activities.

The pipeline is solid, and most of the work comes from repeat business and referrals, not the open market.

To be considered, you’ll need a minimum of three years as a stand-alone SM delivering a mix of fit-out/refurb and new builds for a head contractor. Candidates coming from a subcontractor with no experience working for a builder will not be considered. You’ll also need a stable employment history.

Salary will depend on experience and is up to around $160k, including super.
