Site Manager – Contract Role | $15M Aged Care Project | Mildura

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next contract opportunity with a reputable builder? I’m working with a long-standing Tier 3 construction company that has been delivering high-quality projects across Melbourne and regional Victoria for nearly 30 years.

This role offers the chance to take the lead on a significant project while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of regional Victoria.

About the Project
The project is the construction of a $15 million aged care facility in Mildura. It will include:

• Significant civil works
  
  
• Construction of new buildings
  
  
• Refurbishment of existing facilities
  
  

The project duration is approximately 12 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Your Role
As the Site Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.

Your duties will include:

• Managing day-to-day site activities and coordinating subcontractors
  
  
• Overseeing site safety, inductions, and compliance with OHS requirements
  
  
• Liaising closely with the Project Manager, consultants, and client representatives
  
  
• Monitoring program and progress, addressing any delays or issues proactively
  
  
• Maintaining quality assurance processes and documentation
  
  
• Managing site logistics, materials, and scheduling of trades
  
  

About You
To be successful, you’ll need:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects
  
  
• Previous experience delivering aged care, health, education, or similar complex projects highly regarded
  
  
• Strong knowledge of civil works, new builds, and refurbishment processes
  
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive site performance
  
  
• Solid understanding of OHS regulations and quality standards
  
  
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining program targets
