The Opportunities

DESIGN MANAGER - Lead design coordination across multidisciplinary teams

• Manage design process from concept through construction documentation
• Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, and SCADA design inputs for solar farms, BESS, and HV substations
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and regulatory requirements
• Interface with clients, consultants, and project delivery teams
• Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years design management in renewable energy/HV

SENIOR DESIGN MANAGER - Provide strategic design leadership across multiple projects

• Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead and mentor design management teams and multidisciplinary groups
• Interface with senior stakeholders and resolve complex design challenges
• Oversee design quality assurance, risk management, and resource planning
• Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred), 10+ years design management, 15+ years renewable/power industry experience

Key Competencies for Both Roles:

• Expertise in renewable energy design (solar, BESS, HV substations)
• Proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and grid connection requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
