About the Role

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing BAS, IAS, superannuation, payroll tax

2. Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts

3. Evaluating and advising on business structure & operations

4. Supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting as required;

5. Ensuring accurate recording and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions, Supporting the accounting team in delivering accurate and timely month end reporting;

6. Review monthly bookkeeping records

7. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and cost management, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making;

8. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency;

9. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax obligations.
