About the role

We are seeking a motivated Casual Security Technician & Data Cabler to join our skilled team. You will be responsible for installing and servicing security systems and structured data cabling, delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, and service CCTV, access control, and alarm systems

Perform structured data cabling and network installations

Liaise with clients, builders, and project managers onsite

Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety protocols

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Skills and experience

Current Open Cabling Licence

QLD Security Equipment Installer Licence or ability to obtain

Experience with security brands such as Dahua, Hikvision, Ajax, Inner Range, Challenger, and Bosch preferred

Strong installation, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s licence and White Card

Own set of tools suitable for security and cabling installations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work casual hours as required
