Qualified Security Technician & Apprentice Security Technician

As part of our continued growth, XPRESS SECURITY have an exciting opportunity for a hard working, motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Security Technician or Security Technician Apprentice.

We are a well-established company with the majority of our work onsite in the Greater Brisbane to Gold Coast area.

This is a varied role covering several security aspects - Electronic Systems, Alarms, Access Control and entrance systems. You will never be bored! Specifically, our work involves installation of:

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems

Intercoms

Electronic Access Control

Networking IT

Systems Programming

Gallagher Access Control

You will need to:

Have your own vehicle and drivers licence

Have good communication and customer service skills

Have a general interest in security equipment

Be highly motivated and take pride in your work

Be punctual, honest and reliable

Must be fit and healthy, well presented/neat and tidy appearance (non-smoker)

Be safety conscious

Enjoy problem solving and working with your hands

Enjoy attention to detail in your tasks and reporting

Work well with others and take instruction
