• Payrate $45 to $55 plus overtime if desire.

Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the south eastern suburbs, this well-established company has strong stable history in Automation Equipment has been in business for over 50 years.

This position has come available due to retirement, and will involve various tasks. It is a hands on role that will requier you to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the machine shop to keep up with demand.

Reporting to the Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) supervising a team of CNC machinists & Apprentices, Plan and allocate jobs, Oversee tooling inventory & maintenance, Operate and setup CNC & Manual Machines when needed also at times pending on schedule of work operating and programming machines.

This is a great opportunity to join a long term engineering business with very little staff turnover. They are looking for some one for the long term.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade Qualification in Fitting & Machining
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Be versatile to undertake various task in a day
• Understand and interpret engineering drawing
• Staff Management
• Planning and problem solving
• CNC Machine setup and programming
