Your New Role

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-precision components used in heavy mining equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce parts to spec

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Set up and adjust machines including appropriate tool selections

Routine maintenance and troubleshoot machines and equipment

Inspect parts using measuring tools

Support process improvements with engineers, supervisors and the team

Follow safety procedures and keep area clean

Document production activities, including machine settings, adjustments, and completed work

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.

Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Machining) or equivalent trade qualification.

Strong knowledge of CNC programming

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and interpreting engineering drawings.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
