We’re ON A BOAT & Melbourne Water Taxis and we provide truly memorable and sustainable boating experiences on Melbourne’s Yarra River.

We are also seeking Dock Crew on a casual basis for the busy season ahead. This role includes cleaning boats to a high standard as well as delivering safety briefing and performing administrative tasks.

Currently in our winter period we are still busy on peak days with shifts building into the Summer season!

Join our team to assist with the daily operations of our two companies whilst delivering exceptional customer experiences. If you’re an energetic natural pro at customer service and love rolling-up your sleeves to get it done, then we want you! Our customers love us as and we plan to keep it that way. This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day fulfilment of our businesses with hours ranging from Sunrise to Sunset 7 days a week!

Given the nature of our business, the role demands varied Sunrise to Sunset hours and weekend commitment, along with a combination of both hands-on and administrative functions from the Yarra River.

Skills & qualifications:

Experience in delivering exceptional customer service

Experience working in a professional team

Strong verbal communication skills in English

Interest or experience in boating/marine and boat licence is favourable but is not mandatory

Can listen and act on directions with safety as a key priority

Desirables:

Marine Boat License

Previous Boating Experience

Flexible availability including the ability to work between our two Riverside locations within the CBD
