In the role you are responsible for the preparation and delivery of breakfast service. You are accountable for ensuring the highest standard of food quality, preparation and presentation as well as maintaining impeccable food handling, storage, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Duties vary but will include:

● providing guests with high quality breakfasts

● menu selection ensuring variety and healthy options including vegetarian and vegan choices

● providing both cook to order and buffet breakfasts dependant on guest numbers

● preparing lunch packs for guests, as required

● Assisting with Food preparation for Lunch & Dinners , as required

● understanding guest needs and providing alternative dishes, where necessary

● directing Breakfast Room Attendees, where required

● meeting and greeting customers

● taking orders, serving and clearing tables

● conducting regular stocktaking

● writing up food order requests to ensure sufficient stock supplies while selecting the cheapest and / or most cost effective options at all times

● providing Front Office Staff with shopping orders in a timely fashion to ensure effective delivery

● signing and cross-checking all food deliveries and purchases in conjunction with Front Office Staff

● ensuring appropriate food quantities to provide guests with generous servings and choice, while minimizing wastage

● assisting with bar, restaurant, function and conference activities, including alcohol handling and serving, as required.

● ensuring the highest standard of food handling, hygiene, preparation and storage

● ensuring kitchen and breakfast room are maintained in a clean, functional condition at all times and are consistently inspection-ready

● reporting maintenance and pest issues, as required and ensuring issues are resolved by appropriate personnel in a timely fashion.

● ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

● communicating and working effectively with all Staff and Management within the Equeva Group

● demonstrating excellence in working relationships with all Staff, Management Team and Managing Directors

● taking on additional tasks as assigned by Management

● attending training, when required

● being open to change
