We are actively seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join the Public Law team of a highly regarded national firm. Working in the Sydney CBD, you will support a high-volume and collaborative litigation practice group.

The role:

• Managing the opening and closing of client files
• Preparing and reconciling client billing statements and financial reports
• Handling incoming phone calls and addressing client inquiries
• Coordinating appointments, court dates, and maintaining the solicitor's calendar
• Processing and reconciling expense claims
• Planning and organizing events and functions
• Providing general administrative support to solicitors as required

About you:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a legal assistant
• Prior litigation or public law experience highly regarded
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 including; Word; Excel; and PowerPoint
• Strong organisational, communication, and client service skills
• Demonstrates initiative and a "can-do" approach
