Your new role

As the Payroll Officer, you will be a key member of the Corporate Services team, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services. You will liaise with an outsourced payroll provider, manage payroll data, and provide advice on pay-related matters. In addition to payroll, you will support recruitment coordination, onboarding, procurement, and general administrative functions that contribute to the smooth operation of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Demonstrated payroll experience, ideally within a Commonwealth Government environment
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Experience using Aurion (payroll) and TechOne (finance) is desirable
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
