We are seeking an in-house builder to oversee preparation of the installation of our market leading residential home lifts on the north side of Sydney.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Core objectives include:

Initial job survey & setout

Carpentry & plastering works

Ensuring projects meet deadlines

Signing off on building works completion prior to installation commencement. (our own and 3rd party works)

Leading small teams of trades

Feedback & assistance to Sales team

Skills & Competencies:

Customer service focused: Exceptional customer service, clear and concise communicator

Read and interpret dedicated lift & construction drawings: To determine the layout and location and building requirements

Complete build works: In advance of lift installations incl coordinating other trades as required

Attention to detail: And written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.

Comply with all safety regulations, PPE and building codes.

Teamwork: Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.

Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner.

Ability to work under pressure.

Confident manner and positive approach to change.

Experience required:

Multi-faceted experience working in private homes and residential building sites

Min 5yrs carpentry / trade-based installation experience, particularly renovation

Experience working in-home and communicating with the end user/homeowner

Mechanical / cabinetry experience

Knowledge of Australian standards and housing construction methods

Qualifications required:

Building trade qualifications

Construction Industry induction (white card)

Builder’s license very highly regarded
