A well-regarded residential builder to source a Site Manager / Foreman for a high-quality renovation and extension project based in Annandale, NSW. This role is ideal for a skilled, hands-on leader with a carpentry background who’s ready to take full ownership of the site — from pre-start through to handover.

You’ll be responsible for running the site day-to-day, leading a small team, managing trades and subcontractors, and ensuring that quality, safety, and timelines are met. It’s a role for someone who can confidently lead by example, with a strong mix of practical skills and site coordination experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage all site operations, reporting directly to the builder or project manager

Read and interpret construction plans and documentation to guide day-to-day work

Supervise and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and labourers

Perform carpentry and hands-on tasks as needed – this is a working foreman role

Maintain and monitor safety standards, ensuring compliance with WHS obligations

Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and daily safety checks

Use Site Book app to track project activities, updates, and compliance records

Develop and manage site schedules and programs to meet deadlines

Maintain quality control across all trades and stages of the build

Complete daily site diaries and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)

Handle general site management tasks such as deliveries, materials, and cleanliness

Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and senior management to keep the project on track

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-end residential renovations or extensions

Trade qualified carpenter (essential)

Must have own vehicle and tools

Proven ability to manage a site independently from start to finish

Strong ability to read and implement construction plans and technical documents

Experience coordinating trades, managing timelines, and enforcing safety

Good communication skills and professional site presence

Proficient in using digital tools (Site Book or similar site management software)

High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on attitude
